On the way from Buenos Aires to Bordeaux, I wrote down the “Précisions” and closed the manuscript as follows: “In the future, I do not need to speak any more of a revolution in architecture, one that has already taken place. Now the time opens for great deeds. We shall, in the first place, concern ourselves with the problem of town construction.
